“Hollywood isn’t just a place, it’s a way of life.”
It was a well-deserved night of dancing, music, and all things glamorous. This year’s IGNITE Gala was a smashing success with hundreds of students rocking their best Hollywood-inspired outfits. From bright and bold, to classic and sleek, Humber and Guelph-Humber students were not afraid to show their personalities or their dance moves.

“Probably Topshop, because that’s where I work and everything I own is pretty much from there.”

“I actually got this dress a few years ago at Forever 21, it’s my work Christmas party outfit. ”

“I take a lot of inspiration from Mendocino and other high fashion brands.”

“It’s hard to say because I really like both my shoes and dress. I didn’t want to wear all black so I like having the pink shoes and the dark dress!”

“My mom made this. She’s a tailor and designed it then made it herself.”
Describe your style.
“Kanye. I’m really into fashion but I normally don’t dress this classy. If you saw me at school I would be wearing things you wouldn’t find anywhere else. I’m a student too so obviously I like to thrift.”

“I would say the chains and the shirt.”

“I searched up photos and saw everyone was wearing a bowtie so I thought I would just follow the theme. The rest just went from there!”
